Ko Itakura has definitively swapped Ajax for Borussia Mönchengladbach, the Amsterdam club announced on Thursday. Both clubs have reached an agreement over the transfer of the defender, who was under contract at Ajax until mid-2029.
Ajax sold Ahmetcan Kaplan and Ko Itakura on Thursday to NEC and Borussia Mönchengladbach, respectively. The Amsterdam club is reportedly receiving a total of 7.5 million euros for the two defenders.
