On Sunday, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Sheikh Al-Fazaani checked the eastern transformer station in North Nouakchott to see on the ground the damage to it and the re-enactment efforts, after two fires in the capital. During the visit, the President of the Republic said that the invasion followed the course of the ongoing re-service interventions to the affected neighbourhoods, and the extent of the damage to the plant.
