The Hadash, Taal, and Balad parties in Israel have formed a joint list for the October 27 elections. Leadership order has been determined; negotiations over seat allocation have been difficult. Polls suggest that the Arab parties could win 15 seats and play a key role.
After a prolonged crisis and a breakdown in talks that seemed to end the possibility of a union, the three Arab parties recently (Wednesday) reached an agreement on a joint run in the elections for the 26th Knesset.
