After 'snowcrete' winter, Manassas sees sharp rise in weather response costs

The Manassas City Council approved a fiscal 2026 budget amendment Monday to transfer $372,000 from the general fund contingency to the Public Works Department for snow removal expenses. That amount is over double what the city typically budgets for winter weather responses.
