Two years after a series of parcel explosions in several European countries, five people have been charged in Lithuania.
A Lithuanian court has initiated proceedings against five individuals suspected of sending packages containing concealed incendiary materials in 2024. The packages were delivered to DHL and DPD couriers, and from there to random recipients. The packages exploded in Poland, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
In total, there are 16 suspects in the case, but five persons have been identified and referred to the court.
In Lithuania, they decided to bring to court the cases of five people, two of them Ukrainians, who are accused of attempting a terrorist attack on the orders of Russian intelligence.
