Affidavit: Lake County man shoots one person after getting into argument over drill

On Feb. 23, deputies responded to Shadow Hill Drive around 5:36 p.m. after a victim called officials and told them he was shot in the arm during a verbal argument. The victim arrived at his friend's house to work on a disabled four-wheeler, where Michael Corkill, 39, was also present. Corkill told the victim not to touch his belongings, which started the verbal argument, officials say. The arrest affidavit shows Corkill was charged with attempted homicide and is being held with no bond.
