- Following an established partnership, Aena said it will build on its growth strategy by acquiring stakes in Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports, which it already partly owns through joint ventures.
- InfraBridge sold just over half of its 49% stake in Newcastle to Aena, while Newcastle remains 51% owned by the LA7, and Aena acquired a 51% stake in Leeds Bradford.
- The financing includes a 364m refinancing and a 20m Green Loan, with strong lender interest from Barclays, Lloyds, and others, to support Newcastle Airport's growth and environmental goals.
