Adam Thomas Explains Exactly What Happened with David Haye on I'm a Celeb
Adam Thomas says the row with David Haye left the ITV finale feeling exploited and could stop him watching with his children.
Following the dramatic finale on Friday, April 24, actor Adam Thomas revealed I'm A Celebrity... South Africa feels "tarnished," admitting he feels "dead inside and numb" due to the bullying controversy involving David Haye.
Throughout the series, Haye, 45, faced accusations of 'bullying' the 37-year-old winner, with Thomas claiming Haye switched from friendly to problematic behavior, telling him, "Now if that isn't classed as bullying, I don't know what is."
Alleging the broadcaster's editing was "propaganda," Haye is reportedly suing ITV for up to £10 million for damaging his brand, while Thomas maintains the broadcast footage reflected the truth.
Despite receiving voice notes from Haye post-show, Thomas set firm boundaries, telling him, "I think this is where we draw the line and I hope that you find happiness bro, but I'm done."
Thomas insisted he would not return for £10 million, saying the ordeal has "eaten away at his soul," with brothers Scott and Ryan supporting his decision to shield his children from the show.
