One of Poland's most outstanding actors, Jan Frycz, has died, the National Theatre in Warsaw announced. The artist passed away on August 15th at his family home.
Jan Frycz was born on May 15, 1954, in Kraków. In 1978, he graduated from the Ludwik Solski State Drama School in Kraków. That same year, he made his stage debut as Edmund in Aleksander Fredro's "Ladies and Hussars," directed by Mikołaj Grabowski. Many figures from the world of culture and art paid their respects to the artist, including writer Jakub Żulczyk, who was linked to Frycz by the cult series "Blinded by the Lights," actress Joanna Szczepkowska, writer Katarzyna Grochola, and friends from the Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theatre in Krakow.
