Fire leaves $2.8 million in damage to historic Loudoun County inn

A combustible liquid stored too close to a heat source caused a fire Saturday morning that caused $2.8 million in damage to the Courtland Farm Manor Inn in Aldie, according to Loudoun County Fire and Rescue. Crews were called to the property of 100 areas at 8:48am due to a fire in the dining room of the boutique hotel on Courtland Farm Lane, the fire department said in a news release.
