AbbVie issued a corrected release after updating oncology data and presentation details for seven assets, including response rates above 50% in several studies.
On Friday, October 23, AbbVie will present new clinical data from its oncology portfolio at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology Congress in Madrid, running through October 27.
A recent correction to the company's ESMO news release provides updated information on its solid tumor portfolio spanning seven assets across lung, colorectal, ovarian, prostate, and gastric cancers.
New findings reinforce ABBV-706 potential in relapsed/refractory small cell lung cancer, where the drug achieved 56% overall response rate in heavily pre-treated populations and 82% in the 2L-only subset.
Treating metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer patients with ABBV-969 produced robust molecular responses; 90% achieved a 50% reduction in circulating tumor DNA by cycle 3 of the Phase 1 study.
Daejin Abidoye, AbbVie vice president of oncology, said the data reflects the company's "disciplined, biology-driven approach to oncology innovation" as it advances more than 35 investigational medicines in clinical trials.
