IT Employee Disciplined by UGAPD for Unauthorized Flock Camera Use

The employee searched for off-campus incidents twice in 2025 and lacked supervisory approval, prompting new monthly conduct reviews.

A civilian IT employee has been suspended without pay for 20 business days and demoted by the University of Georgia Police Department (UGAPD) for unauthorized use of Flock Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) database, according to a UGA press release.
