The Buda District Court issued a European and international arrest warrant on Tuesday for the son of former Hungarian National Bank Governor Ádám Matolcsy (40). Former central bank governor György Matolcsy (71) is in custody on suspicion of committing economic fraud and other crimes.
European and international arrest warrants have been issued for Ádám Matolcsy and György Stofa. According to the authorities, they are residing abroad.
During the investigation, it became necessary to question them. The court did not find the issuance of the arrest warrant disproportionate.
