A 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck today on the Molucca Sea north of Indonesia's Sumatra Island. No reports of damage or casualties have been received. The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency issued a statement that tsunami waves were generated by the earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 10 km.
