Unaccompanied Senator Ionel Carp announced in full that he would act as an independent member of the PSD parliamentary group. The same announcement was made in full of the House of Representatives by the non-affiliated MEPs Szőke Ecaterina-Mariana, Jianu Josif-Florin, Stefan-Alexandru Băishanu and Andrei Cosmin, who recently left S.O.S. Romania.
Four resigned MPs from the S.O.S Romania party, led by Diana Şoşoacă, announced that they will switch to the PSD. At this moment, the Social Democrats reach 126 MPs.
