A protective hairstyle business comes to town

Jayelynn Hinton is taking her hair styling talents to a new level and sharing her knowledge of braiding with students on campus by starting up her own protective hairstyle business.   Hinton is a freshman at Wayne State College studying business marketing.  She is a self-taught braider who discovered her talents in 2017.   “I do braids on men and women, working with both natural hair and synthetic hair, as well as loc retwists,” Hinton said.
