In a 30 km/h zone, nearly two out of three drivers drive so fast that they would receive a fine. This is according to an analysis by the traffic institute Vias. The average speed in these zones is 41 kilometers per hour. In Flanders, half of the drivers are speeding, while in Wallonia, it is 83 percent.
