The Greater Noida Authority has taken a major decision for farmers ahead of the UP elections. The authority has increased the compensation rate from Rs 4,125 to Rs 6,415 per square meter, representing a 55.5 percent increase in compensation. Furthermore, the 6% residential plot provision, which was discontinued in 2016, has also been reinstated.
