A remarkable discovery was made in a tomb in Świebodzice. Twenty-five coffins and sarcophagi belonging to members of the Hochberg family, former owners of Książ Castle, were found.
The remains of, among others, Konrad Ernst Maximilian von Hochberg, the founder of the Baroque reconstruction of Książ, were identified in the von Kramst family tomb at the municipal cemetery in Świebodzice. A spokesman for Książ Castle in Wałbrzych described this as "a historic moment for Lower Silesia."
