The 18th Wing at Kadena Air Base (Okinawa Prefecture) announced on the 25th that a diesel fuel leak occurred on the base on the 24th due to equipment malfunction. Approximately 575 gallons (about 2,000 liters) of fuel leaked, and the base immediately contained the spill.
