The citizen of Madagascar, accused of organizing illegal migration through Belarus to the European Union, was extradited from the UAE to Minsk. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in June 2024, a man in the group organized an illegal stay in Belarus and a subsequent visit to the EU countries, bypassing the entry points of 13 foreigners — Burundians, Cameroon, Comoros and Nigeria.
