Royal Caribbean Unveils Hero of the Seas, New Record-Breaking Cruise Ship
The new Icon Class ship will feature nine pools, 28 dining venues and a three-story family suite concept, Royal Caribbean said.

- The vessel features Category 6, billed as the largest waterpark at sea, and Crowns Edge, a hybrid skywalk and zip line experience suspended 154 feet above the ocean.
- Accommodations include the three-story Ultimate Family Treehouse; seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries depart Miami with stops at CocoCay in the Bahamas.
- Bookings open this week as Royal Caribbean President and CEO Michael Bayley said the ship delivers "the experiences families are looking for when vacationing together.
