Brisant irregularities at the Austrian Embassy in London: 79 travel documents were issued for people who had no Austrian citizenship at all.

In this case, the control mechanisms themselves, such as the four-eye principle, were bypassed "obviously" by a "misuseful use" of the embassy's IT infrastructure, admitted Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger (NEOS).

There have been serious irregularities at the Austrian Embassy in London: the representation has issued 79 travel documents to 39 persons who do not have an Austrian citizenship at all.

In response to a parliamentary question, Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger (NEOS) reported of 79 documents illegally issued concerning 39 persons: "The exhibition was illegal, as the condition of Austrian citizenship was not fulfilled." These travel documents were declared invalid and withdrawn.
