Pollock Shines as England Wallop Wallabies
- On Sunday, November 8, 2026, England secured a record 45-22 victory over Australia at Twickenham in the Nations Championship, with Henry Pollock scoring two tries off the wing.
- Head coach Steve Borthwick entered the match facing scrutiny following reports of a "toxic environment" during the July tour, which senior players including captain Maro Itoje publicly denied.
- Filling in for the injured Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, Pollock made an immediate impact by scoring twice in the second half while England dominated set-pieces to run in 7 tries total.
- This result marks Australia's third consecutive loss following heavy defeats to New Zealand last month, as England's points tally surpassed the 44 points they managed in their 2016 victory.
- Victory provides England a critical boost ahead of upcoming tests against Japan and New Zealand, serving as a marker before a projected quarter-final meeting with the Wallabies at next year's Rugby World Cup.
