3 held for parading teen, father naked in Kolkata taken through locality bare-chested by cops
- On Tuesday, Kolkata police paraded three men bare-chested through Kshudiram Pally to reconstruct an incident where they allegedly forced a 17-year-old boy, his father, and a friend to walk naked.
- The incident occurred Sunday evening after the boy was caught kissing his girlfriend, leading her family to hold him and a friend captive within Sarsuna Police Station limits, where they were reportedly assaulted.
- Family members allegedly handed the boy's father a firearm, forcing him to choose between shooting his son or walking naked, before parading the three victims for about 50 meters in front of the residence.
- A viral video of the humiliation sparked tension in the locality, as an irate mob allegedly attempted to vandalize the girl's house, prompting Police to intervene and bring the situation under control.
- Police are verifying local CCTV footage to reconstruct events at Kshudiram Pally, though investigators have not yet traced the firearm allegedly used to threaten the victims during the Sunday evening confrontation.
