- Produced July 16, 2026, the products have a 60-day shelf life and were identified during routine inspection activities before reaching food service locations in Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan.
- Recalled items include 10-pound boxes of "Midamar Premium Beef Pastrami" with case code "19410," plus 20- to 30-pound boxes of "BEA'S BEST COOKED CORNED BEEF BRISKET" and "KIRSCH DELICATESSEN STYLE COOKED CORNED BEEF BRISKET" .
- While no illnesses have been linked to the products, FSIS urged consumers and institutions to discard or return the items, remaining concerned they may still occupy refrigerators or freezers.
- Listeria infection is particularly serious for older adults, pregnant women, and those with weakened immune systems; individuals experiencing flu-like symptoms within two months should seek medical care and report exposure.
