Portuguese authorities are battling a series of forest and agricultural fires in the north of the country. A wildfire in a wooded area started late in the afternoon of Monday, August 17th, in the parish of Rebordões (São Bento), in the municipality of Santo Tirso. According to the IPMA the districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Vila Real, Bragan a, Aveiro, Viseu, Guarda e Coimbra is today and have the fair under orange notice due to forecast the warm weather.
