A 2.7 earthquake on the Richter scale was felt today at 07:52 in the county of Loulé, Faro district, announced the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
With an epicenter "about 14 kilometers west-northwest of Loulé", the earthquake "did not cause personal or material damage," the IPMA reported in a statement.
