Private consumption in Mexico recorded two increases at monthly and annual rates in April 2026 of 0.1 and 2.1 per cent according to the Monthly Indicator of Private Consumption (IMCP). The IMCP of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) calculated that the monthly variation is the second in positive terms in 2026, since in the first two months of the year in question there were reductions of 1.5 and 0.2 per cent, respectively.
