2026 Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express Stamps Announced

- On Dec. 12, 2025 the U.S. Postal Service announced its 2026 Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express stamps featuring the Crab Nebula and Galaxy Pair using James Webb Space Telescope images.
- USPS art director Greg Breeding designed the preliminary stamps using NASA photos, noting the designs may change and featuring the Crab Nebula image captured by James Webb Space Telescope 6,500 light-years away.
- The release calendar through March lists first-day-of-issue dates and locations, with Kansas City, MO noted as TBD for the space stamps and ceremonies in Boston, MA, Washington DC, San Diego, CA, and Strongsville, OH.
- Pending Postal Regulatory Commission review, denominations and issue dates for Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope and Priority Mail Express Flat Rate Envelope stamps will be set, and customers may buy them via The Postal Store, phone, mail, or select Post Office locations.
- Amid its 250th year and service to more than 170 million addresses, United States Postal Service said additional stamp subjects will be announced in the coming weeks with details released throughout the year.
