Goodhue County Fair Announces 2026 Schedule with Grandstand Events and Saturday Fireworks
Organizers say the five-day fair will feature free daytime entertainment, paid grandstand shows and a Saturday fireworks finale.
The Goodhue County Fair returns to its fairgrounds north of Zumbrota from August 11 through 15, 2026, continuing a community agricultural tradition dating back to 1859.
Board member Roger Sievers noted the fair maintains its historical roots while completing recent facility upgrades, including a new roof and siding for the historic Old Commercial Building.
Grandstand programming opens Tuesday, August 11, with bull riding and barrel racing, followed by tractor pulls, autocross, and demolition derby events throughout the week.
Daily gate admission costs $8, with season passes available for $25; children under 12 receive free entry, and seniors 65 and older attend free on Friday.
The fair concludes on Saturday, August 15, featuring the 4-H livestock auction and final shows, capped by a fireworks display at dusk to close the five-day event.
