$12.2 million apartment project in Alexandria gets tax help

ALEXANDRIA A three-story, 64-unit, mixed income apartment building will receive a tax break.At Monday’s meeting, the Alexandria City Council approved a tax increment financing application from Twenty08 Housing, LLC. It will be a multi-family building with studio and one and two bedroom units, located at 2008 Runestone Ave., north of County Road 82 and west of Birch Avenue.
