The Government of Iran today announced that ten of the 13 fishermen who had been missing for weeks from the province of Hormozgán on the south coast of the country were found alive in the territory of the United Arab Emirates.
Tehran: Iran, Monday, announced that 10 of its fishermen had been found in the United Arab Emirates after having been lost with three other fishermen off its coast weeks ago. Iranian fishermen have been severely affected by the war that erupted with an Israeli-American attack on Iran on 28 February, facing repeated shelling and mines in the Strait of Horms.
The head of the Foreign Ministry's representative office in Hormozgan said: "The 10 missing fishermen from Bandar Lengeh are in the UAE and will return to the country soon."
