RCMP · Carrot RiverSaskatchewan RCMP have launched a homicide investigation after a child died in Shoal Lake Cree Nation Friday evening. At around 7 p.m., Carrot River RCMP received a report that a child under the age of 10 had been seriously injured in a home on the Cree Nation, Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release. Arriving officers found the child unresponsive inside the home. “Life-saving measures were attempted. EMS also attended and declared the child deceased at the scene.” RCMP said.See the Story
