Why Did ‘Rock the Block’s Chelsea Meissner Leave ’Southern Charm’?
Meissner joins Season 7 with a fellow Survivor finalist as she returns to reality TV for her first starring role in nearly seven years.
Chelsea Meissner returned to reality television on Monday's Season seven Premiere of HGTVMore's Rock the Block, competing alongside a fellow Survivor finalist.
Meissner left Southern Charm after Season 6 due to plans to travel to New Zealand, though those ultimately fell through. "The time off the show made me realize how much I enjoyed my peace and privacy," she explained.
Before Southern Charm, Meissner competed on Survivor, finishing third behind Spradlin-Wolfe and Sabrina Johnson. She later served as a main cast member for Seasons 5 and 6 of Southern Charm.
Raising her daughter as a single mother, Meissner keeps the child's identity private for safety. "No judgement to those who post pics of their kids but I've decided against it," she noted, with Cameran Eubanks serving as godmother.
Meissner maintains friendships with former Southern Charm costars, including Eubanks and Naomie Olindo, while marking her first reality TV-starring role in nearly seven years.
