We tried out a caravan holiday in coastal Wales and this is what we thought

Aber Bay Holiday Park in Clarach Bay, near Aberystwyth, Wales, offers various accommodation options including 6-berth caravans, with seven-night stays starting from around £199.
Travelling from Doncaster takes five and a half hours by train to Aberystwyth, with a local taxi to the site costing around £10; the park was formerly known as Glan-Y-Mor.
The 6-berth caravan featured a kitchen with all mod cons and French doors opening to a seating area overlooking the sea. On-site, a "brand-new luxury heated indoor swimming pool" requires two adults to use simultaneously.
Guests enjoy direct access to Clarach Bay beach and a beachside restaurant, while the park provides a games room, outdoor play area, and "Children's entertainment ."
Visitors can explore the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Devil's Bridge waterfalls, and Cardigan Bay coastal walks, with opportunities for dolphin spotting and watersports available near the Cambrian Mountains.
