A 12-year-old boy, travelling on an electric scooter, died on Wednesday in Toulon (Var) by "violently hitting" a pole on a sidewalk, said the city's public prosecutor's office.
The accident took place on Wednesday morning, rue Antoine-Groignard in the Roads district of Toulon. The prosecutor's office ruled out the possibility of a collision with a bus.
