ST. LOUIS, Mo. – For the third year in a row, the No. 14 Washington University in St. Louis men's basketball team is headed to the Sweet 16. The Bears defeated UW-Whitewater 74-71 on Saturday evening in the Round of 32 to advance to the Sweet 16 for the 11th time in program history. The Bears are now 20-7 on the year.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team fell to UChicago in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. The Maroons outscored the Warhawks 21-6 in the final quarter of the game, pulling away for the 62-46 win.
