Ukraine has received €2.9 billion from EU under Ukraine Facility
Ukraine received another tranche of funding totaling 2.9 billion euros from the EU under the Ukraine Facility after meeting 10 performance indicators, three of which were achieved ahead of schedule.
The European Commission has made effective this Friday the disbursement of €2.9 billion to Ukraine to help finance the country's accounts and keep its administration operational, after the 27 approved this new tranche of aid last week after checking that Kiev had made progress on the reforms required to access the funds.
The European Union has paid Ukraine 2.9 billion euros, as part of the "Ukrainian Fund" program, Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergej Koretsky announced.
Brussels - The European Commission today released 2.9 billion euros (about 70.9 billion CZK) in support of Ukraine. The money is intended to cover the country's financial needs and ensure the functioning of its public administration as Ukraine faces Russian aggression, the commission announced.
