AAIB Investigates After Two Die in North Wales Light Aircraft Crash
Police said the aircraft failed to reach Caernarfon Airport, and investigators from the Air Accidents Investigations Branch were deployed after the crash.

North Wales Police launched a multi-agency search shortly after midday when the aircraft departing from England missed its scheduled arrival. Rescuers discovered the wreckage in a remote location near Trawsfynydd.
Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. The Air Accidents Investigations Branch has dispatched a team of investigators to examine the incident.
Chief Superintendent Owain Llewellyn stated, "Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those involved in this tragic incident." He expressed gratitude to all agencies for their professionalism during the search.
