- The Colombian Embassy in Accra is providing the rescued women with accommodation and emergency travel documents to facilitate their safe return to Bogota, while coordinating with INTERPOL.
- Authorities are tracking the suspects, Force Public Relations Officer CSP Aniete Iniedu stated Saturday, while Inspector-General of Police IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu reaffirmed the force's commitment to tackling cross-border crime.
