TVS-Owned Norton Unveils 450 Cc Urban Bike to Win a New Generation of Riders
The liquid-cooled single-cylinder model targets accessible performance and will go on sale in 2027, with India launch plans also under way.
On Monday, Norton Motorcycles announced a new 450 cc urban motorcycle in London, marking a significant expansion of the British brand's product range ahead of its EICMA debut with sales beginning in 2027.
This motorcycle represents the next phase of Norton's resurgence following its April 2020 acquisition by TVS Motor Company, which aims to combine British heritage with contemporary engineering across its expanding portfolio.
Powered by a liquid-cooled 454 cc single-cylinder engine producing 45 Nm of torque, the bike pairs an aluminium frame with an 8-inch TFT touchscreen to deliver agile handling and contemporary digital connectivity.
The 450 cc bike targets competitors like the KTM 390 Duke and Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 as Norton expands its retail network beyond 50 locations, with market entries prepared for India and the United States.
While the official model name remains under wraps until launch, Norton continues collaborating with Foster + Partners on a new global retail concept to support a cohesive brand experience during its international expansion.
