On Wednesday, President Donald Trump pledged to campaign in about 35 key midterm races to determine control of Congress, vowing to spend the final 30 days traveling to battlegrounds supporting Republican candidates.

Trump name-checked competitive races in Alaska, where Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan faces Mary Peltola, and Texas, where Attorney General Ken Paxton challenges James Talarico. He previously poked fun at Paxton's style while endorsing him.
His super PAC, MAGA Inc., reports more than $400 million in the bank to assist candidates. However, the Washington Post reported recently that some donors remain reluctant to contribute, questioning deployment plans.
During a dinner in the Rose Garden, the president urged vulnerable lawmakers to run on his White House record, telling them they had a triumphant story to tell voters in these final contests.
