České Budějovice traffic police have once again focused on overloaded trucks in recent days. The record for at least a week would certainly be set by a truck on the D3 between České Budějovice and Veselí nad Lužnicí, which was pulling a drilling rig. The driver refused to be weighed, but paid a hefty fine.
Traffic police officers on the D3 highway near České Budějovice noticed an obviously overloaded truck. They diverted it to a rest area, where the driver was asked to weigh himself. The driver refused. He was fined one hundred thousand crowns for this. His truck had a drilling system on its low bed.
