WAUKEGAN, Ill. — Two Waukegan Public Works employees are recovering in the hospital on Thursday after they were electrocuted while trimming trees. According to officials from the Waukegan Fire Department, the incident happened Thursday mornnig near the intersection of East Greenwood Avenue and Pershing Road while the workers were trimming trees in the area, using a truck that was equipped with a crane boom.
