Eight people were injured in a collision between a train and a technical services vehicle that occurred on Wednesday afternoon at a railway crossing on the line between Kostelec na Hané and Prostějov. All components of the integrated rescue system, including an air rescue helicopter, are responding to the scene. Operation on the line is suspended.
Seven people were injured in a collision between a diesel train and a garbage truck on the outskirts of Prostějov. The diesel train partially derailed in the accident. Three people suffered moderately serious injuries, mainly fractures.

Four people were injured, two of them passengers. According to witnesses and pictures from the scene of the accident, it was a garbage truck. Traffic on the line has been stopped.
