After a construction full of setbacks, the Meuse Delta Tunnel is now a whole. The two parts of the new car connection between Rozenburg and Vlaardingen were 'linked' by traffic minister Mark Harbers on Thursday morning. But at a depth of 28 metres, it wasn't so much about this piece of Dutch ingenuity, but mainly about something else.
