Only ten horses will eventually run the Great Pardubice on Sunday, October 11th, as Zarate is injured. The last time the famous steeplechase had fewer participants was in 1993. The participants of the 136th edition received their starting numbers during a draw on Thursday at the Karlova Koruna Chateau in Chlumec nad Cidlinou.
