On November 2, 2026, the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance was informed that Alta Bank a. d. Belgrade, according to the decision of the National Bank of Serbia, license to work revoked from October 30, 2026.
Banka Poštanska štedionica, in cooperation with the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance and with the consent of the National Bank of Serbia, today started a one-time payment of pensions to beneficiaries from the self-employed category, who until now received their pensions through Alta banka.
Pensioners who receive their pensions through current accounts in Alta Bank, of which there are 1,965, will be able to withdraw their October pensions at the counters of Poštanska štedion
October pensions will be paid to clients of Alta Bank through Poštanska štedionica, and documentation should be submitted for subsequent payments.
