Google Announces New Experimental "CC" AI Agent for Families

- CC manages shared calendars, reminders, and daily task lists while assisting with household chores like filling out permission slips and creating shopping lists. Users can share documents via Gmail, Google Chat, or Google Drive to populate these resources.
- Privacy controls ensure CC only accesses information explicitly shared by users, and the system requires permission before submitting forms or payments. The tool cannot access individual inboxes, maintaining boundaries between personal and shared data.
- The tool is available now for US residents with personal Google accounts, with existing CC users receiving upgrade invitations via email. New users interested in the service can join Google's waitlist to access the family organizer.
